Expo Anniversary

Saturday was the 20th Anniversary of the World Expo that was held in Brisbane in 1988, and down at the South Bank there were to be fireworks and entertainments, so in the afternoon (after a trip to Nudgee Beach in the morning) we caught the bus into town and then got a ferry across the river to the South Bank where we wandered around for a couple of hours of a really warm evening.

We strolled around the water park and the artificial beach then sat down on the grass for a little picnic and went around the rainforest walk.
